Driven by end-to-end creative ownership, this project was conceptualized and executed from initial vision to final delivery. I led all stages of the creative process—including initial concept development, visual style exploration, asset creation, motion design, and final compositing—to deliver a high-impact, channel-ready promotional campaign.

• High-Energy Sports Hype: Designed to build excitement around the mid-season MLB All-Star Game event integrated into the mobile game.

• Kinetic Typography & Dynamic Rhythm: Combines aggressive, repeating typography grid systems with fast-paced cuts to mirror the fast momentum of baseball highlights and mobile gameplay.

• Pop-Art & Sports Broadcast Hybrid: Blends modern digital motion graphic aesthetics with classic sports network promo stylings (bold posterized backgrounds, duotone/contrast color palettes, and heavy graphic overlays).

Marketing & Promotional Strategy

• In-Game Event Engagement: Serves as a major promotional asset to notify players of special All-Star Game events, limited-edition player cards, and in-game rewards in MLB Tap Sports Baseball.

• Social Media Optimization: Formatted with high visual contrast and immediate action to capture attention within the first 1-2 seconds on feeds like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Brand Synergy: Leverages official MLB All-Star branding alongside mobile sports gaming aesthetics to appeal both to core baseball fans and casual mobile gamers.

• Color Palette: High-contrast purple, deep violet, black, white, and subtle metallic tones. The strong purple and white typography grids create high visual impact on mobile screens.

• Typography: Bold, all-caps, condensed sans-serif typography (BASEBALL) arranged in alternating tiled background banners to create texture, depth, and kinetic motion behind subject elements.

Animation & Shot Breakdown

1. Opening Hook / Background Grid Setup:

   • Alternating purple, black, grey, and white blocks with scrolling italicized BASEBALL text fill the screen.

   • Scrolling vectors move in opposing horizontal directions to create immediate kinetic energy.

2. Foreground Impact & Focal Zoom:

   • A high-resolution, fast-spinning baseball scales into center frame, breaking the graphic backdrop.

   • Drop shadows and subtle glow effects isolate the focal object from the background text array.

3. Transition & Highlight Cutaways:

   • Rapid transitions cut between kinetic text slates, stylized MLB player cutouts, and gameplay callouts.

   • Fast whip-pans and graphic wipe transitions push the narrative toward the All-Star Game theme and in-game call-to-action (CTA).

VFX & Animation Techniques

• Repeated Text Tiles & Tile Motion: After Effects expression-driven tiles creating endless scrolling text layers (Offset / Motion Tile effects).

• 3D Depth & Parallaxing: Multi-planar layering in 2.5D space separating foreground objects (spinning baseballs, player cutouts) from mid-ground frame borders and background scrolling text.

• Framing & Halftone Cutouts: Photoshop photo manipulation to isolate baseball players, remove backgrounds, apply duotone/posterization filters, and prep multi-layer assets for After Effects keyframing.

• Motion Blur & Speed Ramping: Strategic speed ramping on zooms and transitions to keep the energy high and suit social media video feed formats.
