This project explores a series of 7 interactive motion studies, taking static visual assets and transforming them into dynamic UI micro-interactions and digital narrative pieces. Built using After Effects and Illustrator, each animation investigates how fluid motion, physics-based feedback, and spatial depth can elevate the digital user experience.
Concept
-
Animation 1 (System Loading & Progress Physics): Demonstrates linear loading physics and smooth indicator feedback against a high-contrast interface background.
-
Animation 3 (3D Spatial Perspective Shift): Uses multi-plane camera motion and responsive lighting shifts to give flat 2D components a tangible, spatial 3D presence.
-
Animation 2 (Elastic Dock & Tool Hover States): Focuses on tactile UI feedback, using spring mechanics, dynamic shadows, and elastic bounces as icons interact within a sleek floating menu bar.
-
Animation 7 (Looping Parachute Motion): A vector motion study exploring continuous secondary movement, air resistance, and smooth gravity simulation.
-
Animation 4 (Windows Blue Screen Error): Stylizes digital terminal corruption by combining kinetic typography and visual noise to transform technical system errors into animated art.
-
Animation 5 (WinErr001 Retro System Loop): Recreates nostalgic retro UI mechanics, utilizing rapid frame loops and layered desktop windows to build visual motion tension.
-
Animation 6 (Error 404 / Page Not Found): Pairs expressive vector illustration with subtle idle animations to create an engaging, character-driven experience for dead-end user routes.
